Think of spring

It's cold and snowy outside. Winter has blown over my back fence and killed one of my favorite bamboo stalks -- DAMN YOU FREEZING RAIN! Dog art for sale!

Want to buy some art and do some good at the same time? Artist Amy Arendts is auctioning four dog paintings with all proceeds going to A Place to Bark. One of the paintings (of a dog named Sheila) is below. The links to the auctions are here, here, here, and here.

Today I finally paid off my student loan!

It only took 13 years, 6 months, and 20 days. Or 427,852,800 seconds.

(No I wasn't a math major.)
